Argean History

The Argeans were originally from the island of Argos in southern Greece who migrated north to Macedonia and established the Agread dynasty which ruled from 810 to 310 BC. The dynasty’s most celebrated members were Philip II and Alexander the Great. Alexander spent most of his ruling years on an unprecedented military campaign through Asia and northeast Africa to create one of the largest empires in history, stretching from Greece to Egypt into northwest India and modern-day Pakistan. He was undefeated in battle and is widely considered one of history’s most successful military commanders. Alexander, having the rare trait of one blue eye and one brown eye, did not force his culture upon the regions he acquired but merely introduced it in the same way his tutor, the philosopher Artistotle, taught him.

Alexander The Great

There is nothing impossible to him who will try.

Alexander the Great

Red and golden images of the sun and lion were symbols of this dynasty as depicted in the star of Verginia and the lion of Macedonia.
